The Background Story of Natasha & Yelena:

From surviving the wrath of Red Room to growing up as a deadly assassin and becoming one of the best spies and owning the title of the fierce Black Widow to getting on board with S.H.I.E.L.D., Natasha Romanoff turned out to be one of the best MCU characters who never failed to inspire the watchers through their endless bravery, enchanting charisma, and an unforgettable personality.

Further, played by the actress Scarlett Johansson on screen, bearing her code name, Black Widow, the character joined hands with the Avengers team to save the world from enemies and eventually sacrificed herself to provide a soul stone for her teammates in the end.

Following in the footsteps of her older adoptive sister, Yelena Belova remained in the mind control of Dreykov after the successful escape attempt of former Black Widow’s subordinate, Natasha Romanoff, for a while and grew up to be one of the best combat/martial artists. However, after breaking free from the influence of Dreykov and eventually killing him later, Belova joined forces with Natasha and began saving other influenced Black Widows from Dreykov’s compulsion.

Nevertheless, after coming back to life and learning about her sister’s death, Belova goes on a revenge rampage to fight off Clint Barton and Kate Bishop but drops the idea after learning the truth and continues to live by departing for an unknown journey.

Powers & Abilities:

Both Black Widows are trained to be the finest. Meanwhile, Romanoff’s powers are fighting off battles by mastering every martial art, being a superhuman, possessing an electrifying Black Widow’s bite, and hacking geek. In contrast, Yelena is more powerful as she can copy other characters’ powers instantly besides mastering the combat skills just like her sister.

Love interests:

Since everything is nearly possible in MCU, throughout her comic and onscreen life, Natasha has been linked with several other possible love interests and friends duos, including having a KGB-arranged marriage with Alexi Shostakov, a possible love interest with Bucky Barnes, trustable intuition with Daredevil and Steve Rogers, and romantic links with Bruce Banner, Clint Barton, and Tony Stark.

Although getting linked with anyone is not Yelena’s main priority, for now, the fans are already thinking about shipping her with Bucky Barnes.
